In Florida, when selling a vehicle or registering a new one in Florida title for a used motor vehicle for the first time, the owner is obliged to sign a sworn statement confirming the accuracy of the Odometer . The Florida Department of Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles requires these to be filled out by a Florida notary in-person before going to the tax collector for registration.
The notary public will review the form for completeness before proceeding with the notarization. The form requires the notary public to attest that they have physically inspected the vehicle and verified that the Odometer matches the one recorded on the form.
Our Mobile Notaries are skilled & instructed in the proper inspection of all kinds of vessels.
Once everything is in order, the notary public will add the date, sign the document, print their name, and affix their notary seal to complete the process.
